For over 48 years, Russo has stood for excellence and precision in hairdressing — a true family legacy. Franco's vision is that Every head of hair is a blank canvas. From conservative to creative, every colour, cut and style we do shows our creativity and talent.
My career began in 1974, training in Knightsbridge, London, where I earned my Diploma with Honours from the World Federation of Supreme Hairdressing Schools. I then trained at the iconic Vidal Sassoon salon on Bond Street, returning three times a year for masterclasses to perfect the art. Today, we still cut the Sassoon way, and pass these exact skills to every team member.
Early on, I ran a chain of successful salons alongside my brother Filippo. In 1989, I decided to go it alone in Bedford, working with my wife, Michelle — our Director. The other salons were sold, and we focused fully on building our family business in Bedford.
Our daughter Izabella is now part of the team, carrying our passion forward alongside our staff Daniel, Angela, Summer, Steven, Franco, and Edith, our Saturday junior.
We look after ladies and gentlemen alike. Our strength lies in precision Sassoon cutting and masterclass colouring — timeless quality you can trust.
